Zeal for survival

The entire animal kingdom has the zeal to survive.  Time after time animals are fighting to survive, and risking their lives doing anything, and everything it takes to remain alive and on the top of the food chain.  Us as humans have this same feeling to survive no matter what the cost.

For one example, the Titanic was a very tragic tragedy that happened years ago.  those people on the ship trying to get off had the Zeal for survival.  From recent movies to timeless classical films of the remake of what happened that day. they make sure to depict the almost emanate fear of death in the faces of the people on the ship and how they will do anything and everything they can to survive.

Another example is from the book by Jack London, The Call of the Wild.  In this book the humans and dogs all struggeld to survive from the harsh weather conditions and the challenges they faced throughout the novel.  Buck, the main chacter in the novel struggeled against his harsh owners beating him vigiroulsly.  And yet with nothing to live for except live itself buck had the zeal to survive.

The zeal to survive is strong in all of us and it shows when the fear of death strikes our very imagination.  what extend would you go to to insure your survival.  only in that moment of truth may one truly know if they have the Zeal to survive and do everything possible to achive that survival.

Frankenstein paragraph

An archetype is an original model which later copies are made. Really, it's what sets the "bar" for everything that follows.  At the time Frankenstein was written,  a masterpiece was created , a "horror" novel that terrorized readers not simply by the "creature", but by the reality that they, themselves could be monstrous as humans in their streotypical and bigoted way that they treat each other. Frankenstein was not only dead but he was a living human being before his death and being stichted together by his creator. the archetype that is evident in this novel is the created turning against the creator. Specifically, the monster Frankenstein turns against his creator, killing his brother and framing one of his friends.
